The Franchise HistorySince 2008 when WWE Franchise debuted on the professional wrestling scene, it has seen various ups and downs in the entertainment industry. From being a top notch business to even going bankrupt, it was always a fun environment to be apart of. With a history that dates back to certain events as buying out different wrestling companies such as TNA. WWF and more, WWE Franchise stood on top of it's competitors not allowing them to breathe or recuperate. Years after it's successful run though it ran into some law issues when in 2014 it was being sued by an unlikely source, one former employee - Hall of Famer, "The Franchise" Shane Douglas. Following an excellent career in professional wrestling, Shane Douglas took it upon himself to sue the WWE Franchise for using his copyrighted trademark, "Franchise". Not even thinking this would be an issue back in 2008, Vincent Kennedy McMahon the now co-owner of WWE Franchise had to now go to court and face a judge. After a trial it was determined that Vince would now have half a partner - Shane Douglas.
That's when it was decided upon a committee that the company would known be known simply as 'Franchise Wrestling Inc'. |
Be Apart Of HistoryWhen the doors of WWE Franchise opened in 2008, the first event was none other than Wrestlemania. The global phenomenon became the most watched pay-per-view and event in all of sports entertainment history. It saw top drawing names such as The Undertaker, Randy Orton, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair, Chris Jericho, "The Rated R Superstar" Edge, and more! Since then though it has flourished like no other and even seen over hundreds and hundreds of different competitors walk through it's doors. Some have been successful while some haven't even begun to make a name for themselves. Over the years many championship titles have been introduced while many belts have even been retired since then. Now that the business has changed to 'Franchise Wrestling Inc.' a new era is upon us soon and it should be quite interesting to see what new talent or even veteran talent steps up to be apart of the new revolution! With Vince McMahon and Shane Douglas now having to work together, anything could happen and all hell could break loose!
